FAQ

Rapid antibody screens for HCV are offered free of charge, they only require a finger stick, and you will have your results in less than 20 minutes. These tests are available at our community testing sites.

If someone is known to have been exposed to HCV, blood draws are necessary to confirm the active virus. While insurance is billed for a blood draw, there is NO out of pocket cost to individuals with Medicaid, a little to NO cost for those with other insurances. If a patient does not have insurance, our team will assist in identifying coverage.

For anyone that finds it difficult to make it to one of our clinics or testing locations, it is possible to arrange services that can come directly to you.

If you do not have insurance, our team will help enroll you in available services. For anyone that doesn’t qualify for state or federal insurance programs, or is found to have high insurance copays, our team will assist with identifying any available funding assistance opportunities to ensure that everyone has access to treatment.

Due to our ability to come to you and offer virtual visit options, VEN does not directly offer transportation services. However, our team can assist with identifying and assisting with transportation for extenuating care or treatment circumstances.

Absolutely! From our disease specific providers to our case management team, we offer virtual options for consultation, care, and treatment.

Depending on your circumstances and what works best for you, you can get tested directly in our clinics, at one of our community testing sites, or arrange for a VEN staff member to come to you.

Often there are NO symptoms until your liver has experienced significant damage. This is why it is so important to be educated regarding prevention and get tested when indicated.

  • Fever
  • Fatigue
